Jacob Chappell

I’m Jacob Chappell, a cinematographer and director who focuses on intentional visuals and emotionally driven storytelling. The Air Force shaped my discipline and filmmaking shaped my curiosity, and now I blend both to create images that feel real and grounded.

I study Film and Media Production at ASU and run J1 Media Productions, a veteran owned studio dedicated to helping people refine their message through powerful visual work. I’m always chasing honest moments, strong composition, and stories that leave an impact.

When I’m not filming, I’m climbing, traveling, or working on new projects that push me creatively. My goal is simple. Keep growing and create work that stays with people.
